Wildlife Jewels Plant for Pollinators Conservation Arts Workshop with Pacific Ridge School

Wildlife Jewels’ Plant for Pollinator Conservation Arts Workshop at Pacific Ridge School Carlsbad, January 17, 2025

We recently hosted a wonderful art workshop as part of Wildlife Jewels’ Plant for Pollinator Conservation Arts program, with dedicated 7th-grade Service Learning students from Pacific Ridge School in Carlsbad!

Students explored the fascinating world of San Diego’s Hummingbirds & Butterflies, discovered the challenges they face, and learned ways to protect them—including the importance of planting native plants to support pollinators.

So inspiring to see such beautiful artwork created in honor of these precious pollinators!

The exciting art workshop complemented planting activities, where students learned about some of the pollinators' favorite native plants, their importance, and even planted them at Carlsbad Poinsettia Park!
