Seabirds are beautiful and intelligent, with cutting-edge innovations inspired by their fascinating characteristics and behaviors. Yet, they face devastating threats due to human activities, including entanglement in fishing gear, ocean pollution, from oil spills, oil sheens, and tar balls, to plastic pollution and much more.Today, we are delighted to spotlight a precious Elegant Tern, whom we had the pleasure of meeting along with other stunning Elegant Terns and Royal Terns at Crystal Cove Beach during one of our coastal wildlife monitoring days. We’re honored to feature this majestic bird as part of our logo!
