Happy World Parrot Day!

On this World Parrot Day, we're excited to share an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our “Ammolite the Scarlet Macaw” painting!

This painting is part of our initial Wildlife Jewels Parrot series originally painted in 2000 and inspired by a gorgeous Scarlet Macaw!

Scarlet Macaws are stunningly beautiful and colorful parrots native to the evergreen forests of the Americas. These majestic birds are highly intelligent and can live over 50 years in the wild. Unfortunately, they face devastating threats, including habitat destruction and deforestation. They are also hunted for their feathers and are victims of the cruel pet trade, where they are trapped, stolen from their nests, and sold on the black market.

Stay tuned as we’ll be bringing “Ammolite the Scarlet Macaw” painting into life through functional works of art, and sharing the fascinating world of precious Scarlet Macaws!

Stay tuned to explore more details!
