Happy International Raccoon Appreciation Day!

Today, we’re thrilled to introduce Rita the Raccoon! Recently, we had the pleasure of meeting Rita at San Diego Humane Society’s Ramona Wildlife Center, where she lives full-time as a wildlife ambassador. Rita is a sweet girl who loves to play in her pool, climb, and spend time in her hammock!

Inspired by Rita’s incredible story, we’re creating a special collection of functional arts pieces to showcase her beauty and raise awareness for raccoons, their protection, and conservation. Stay tuned as we launch Rita’s Conservation Collection and unveil these exclusive pieces soon!

“The mission of Project Wildlife is to improve the quality of life for local wildlife and the community, serving as the primary resource for wild animal rehabilitation in San Diego County. Since 1972, Project Wildlife’s dedicated staff and volunteers have given injured, orphaned, and sick wild animals a second chance at life.”
