Celebrating World Rhino Day: Through the Arts

Meet Wildlife Jewels “Amethyst the Rhinos Thandi & Zolani” on World Rhino Day!

Today, we’re honored to celebrate this special day through the arts, inspired by a magnificent rhino who survived a brutal poaching attack in 2012.

Please join us as we celebrate and honor our majestic rhinos!

Meet “Amethyst the Rhinos Thandi & Zolani: Despair to Hope”, our new Wildlife Jewels® painting inspired by the precious poaching survivor rhino Thandi and her majestic family. The painting showcases Thandi and her fifth calf Zolani roaming free and happy at Kariega Game Reserve. The painting takes inspiration from a lovely photograph of Thandi & Zolni taken by Jaco Mitchell at Kariega Game Reserve.

Rhinos are facing devastating and horrific threats from poachers and urgently need our protection.

“Amethyst the Rhinos Thandi & Zolani: Despair to Hope” is one of our new Wildlife Jewels paintings representing the Rhinos of the World.

Stay tuned for Thandi & Zolani’s conservation collection of fashion and arts, educational programs, and activities you can get involved in to learn about magnificent Rhinos and to help protect Rhinos. Coming soon!
