A Recap from the Wildlife Jewels World Migratory Bird Day Walk at Upper Newport Bay!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our World Migratory Bird Day celebration at the stunning Upper Newport Bay!

On Sunday, October 13th, Wildlife Jewels hosted a community bird walk at Upper Newport Bay, bringing together nature enthusiasts to explore the beautiful birds of the area and learn about the fascinating world of migratory birds.

During our walk, we had the pleasure of spotting magnificent birds, including Great Egret, Snowy Egret, American Coot, Cormorant, Mallard Duck, and Whimbrel! Attendees learned about some of the threats these beautiful birds face and ways they can help protect them. Selected photos capturing the precious birds encountered will be shared soon.

If you missed this event, that’s okay! Stay tuned—we have more exciting conservation activities centered around the fascinating world of migratory birds coming soon!
