Wetlands are vital ecosystems, offering essential feeding grounds and habitats for a diverse range of species, including endangered wildlife. However, 90% of California's coastal This year’s theme for World Wetlands Day, is “Protecting Wetlands for Our Common Future,” reminds us of the urgent need to take bold action to preserve these precious habitats.
Wetlands support biodiversity, filter pollutants, store carbon, and protect communities from floods. Their protection is essential for wildlife and future generations!
